Transport Services (with the Client)
A major change under SAH is with Transport Services and how they are billed. This is the Travel that staff undertake with the Client. Under Home Care Packages, KM's were billed separately from the Service time. Under SAH the Transport component needs to be combined into one published price for the Time and KMs of Travel (the period of the Service that is associated directly to Travel) and added to the Service (the period of time that the staff are spending with the Client for the Service outside of Travel).
In order to make this is as simple as possible, we recommend setting up different service types for different lengths of KM's, some examples below:
Transport 0-20km
Transport 20-50km
Transport 50km+
With the new Price Plan module for SAH you will be able to associate an hourly/fixed cost with each of these new service types.
Travel to the Clients
Travel KMs and Time to the Client was also separated from the Service. SAH will require the Hourly rate for the Service to include the price of Travel.
