Within Eziplan you have limited control of User Permissions settings. Only a User with 'Company Admin' access and the 'Unlock' privileges can make changes to another User's permissions. To make changes to these, first open up the profile of the User you are looking to modify (see Finding a user profile).

Once you open the relevant User Profile you will see an 'Update Permissions' tab at the top.

When you access this page you will then be able to change the user between 'Company Admin' and 'Care Worker'. You will also be able to give a Company Admin the 'Accounts Access' if required. Click the 'Update Permissions' button to complete the changes:

The levels of access available in Eziplan are:

Care Worker Access

Through the Eziplan Mobile Web App, Care Workers have access to their own roster and timesheet; as well as Client Information for Clients whom they have appointments with. Care Workers are also able to complete incident forms through the Mobile Web App if you have chosen this feature.

Standard Admin Access

This type of access allows the Admin User to add/edit/delete User and Client Profiles and manage rostering and reports.

Accounts Access

The Accounts access is on top of the Standard Admin access. This access allows the user to see and manage invoicing/claiming, payroll and statements as well as making changes to areas that have financial impact on the Eziplan System like Service costs and pay rates.

Unlock Permissions Access

As standard, Unlock Permissions Access allows a User to do everything that a Standard User can do but with the addition of being able to Unlock some items like notes for editing purposes and to change User Permissions. To grant 'Unlock' to one of your administration users, please send a request through the Help Desk from an appropriate Company Administrator and one of the Support Consultants will carry this out for you.

An additional set up option for your business can be made that makes Unlock Permissions Access a little broader. It removes the ability of Accounts users to add/edit/delete the financial system inputs like Packages, Service Types, Billing Rules and Tasks and only allows those Company Admins with Unlock Permissions Access to make changes here. Accounts access will still give a user the ability to create and export Billing, Payroll and Statements.
