Your Client Profile requires a Package Schedule to function. This Package is then chosen when an appointment is made and tells the system where to charge the service to. The Package types can be customised to suit your business needs (see article on Managing Package Schedules). Sometimes you may need to switch a client to a new Package Schedule.

To find the Packages your client has been attached to, choose the Package Schedules Tab from within the Client Profile (see the article Finding a Client Profile if you need assistance). There are two processes for changing package schedules. Most of them are done the same way with the HCP Packages needing to be done differently.

Normal Package Schedule Change Process (all packages except HCP)

Start by opening the current Package Schedule by left clicking on the link.

Once you have opened the Package Schedule, change the end date to reflect the change and then hit the Update button at the bottom of the package.

If there are appointments in the Planner for dates after the end date you will get a notification to update the Package Schedule attached to these appointments. You can do this after adding the new Package Schedule.

Once you close the Package with the red "x" in the top right corner you will be taken back to the previous page with the list of Package Schedules. To add the new one hit the "Add Package Schedule" button at the bottom and follow the process from the article Add a Package Schedule.

You must now go to the Repeat appointments for your client and change the Package Schedule attached to the appointments to reflect the changes. If you were notified about future appointments above you need to find all of the Individual Appointments that are effected and change them as well.

HCP Package Change
